THIS IS HUGE!! Please read and give feedback, spread the word, do whatever but know I am telling the truth!

If this actually really happened then I have nothing to offer, and I can’t really say any other posts have really spoken to that aspect…assuming this is real. Most posts are responding as if this is a hallucination. Maybe it is, but if it is it is a very very peculiar and uncommon type of shared hallucination and kind of incredible.

If this happened to me I wouldn’t know what to think and I wouldn’t care what people here thought. Personally I wouldn’t even talk about it here because no one would actually believe me. It sounds so weird honestly.

@DMTscientist03 : I had a time/space dilation event many years ago. I was with two friends: one who was peaking on Foxy, same as me, and the other guy just had a few beers in him.

We decided to hop from a pool hall to one of Beer Guy's favorite bars, a good 45 minute walk away. According to Beer Guy, we walked over a mile in like 10-15 minutes. He was quite amazed that this happened. Having been a former acid-head, the three of us concluded that we must have "bought him along" on our trip.

Of course, there's no way to corroborate this experience. I haven't thought about it either until this quick jog down memory lane.

A good friend of mine told me he knew a guy – a crack-head and a fixture of the local party scene –who if you said or even thought his name, would <<appear>> in the next minute or so. Multiple people in this party scene, according to my friend, had this same experience.

The world's a weird place full of eye-raising stories....

I've had somewhat similar shared hallucinations, sometimes quite weird, but they were with people who were both tripping.

My partner has said she noticed some perceptual changes when I'm tripping and she's not, but not like you're reporting. So maybe it's a "contact high"? if that's a real thing. I don't think it's at all likely that physical reality is changing.

Also the title for this thread makes this all sound more unhinged, imo. I would refrain from trying to preach at all about truth. No one is going to want to hear that part.
Agreed. Claiming truth just seems dogmatic and the antithesis of the psychedelic experience. Remain humble and open to being completely wrong

TL;DR

Nate, a psychology/clinical mental-health graduate student with extensive psychedelic experience, describes repeated experiences after N,N-DMT in which he and sober observers allegedly perceived physical reality itself changing, rather than merely experiencing subjective hallucinations.

Examples include:
  • People physically appearing as completely different people, sometimes with dramatically different body sizes.
  • His hands appearing much smaller, which a sober observer allegedly also saw and photographed.
  • A $20 bill appearing physically altered, with writing becoming unrecognizable, which his sober girlfriend allegedly saw as well.
  • In these cases, the changes reportedly persisted for several minutes and then reverted to normal, sometimes even in photographs.
  • He says he has experienced roughly 50 similar incidents and emphasizes that sober people independently perceived the same changes.
  • These experiences led him to question whether conventional physics and our understanding of reality are fundamentally incomplete.
  • He is asking whether anyone else has experienced or documented similar phenomena, because he has been unable to find comparable reports.
Core question: Are these genuinely shared/objective alterations of reality, or is there another explanation for multiple people apparently perceiving the same changes?

Edit: THIS IS A SUMMARY OF THE WALL OF TEXT OF OP.
Damn, lmao.

Also, sounds like someone needs a lil break. OP, go touch some grass, friend.

Is this an eco-friendly Nexian substitute for the old adage, “Go kick rocks”? 🤔
No, not so negative lol, though perhaps similar. It's generally a statement to reflect the sentiment to put the DMT down for a little and get grounded back  here.

Awesome! You are so right. Weird place indeed.

Thank you. You have led me to a better understanding of how much we really do not understand.
You're welcome, but I highly doubt it, honestly. It looks like you were seeking some kind of confirmation to go full-on into your magic land.
Further, I doubt that you'll easily let this ideation go, either.
What did you learn about yourself in these magical situations?
Maybe spend 5min of your time and ponder that question. "Reality is not what it seems" is the first lesson from any psychedelic, and you don't need to dig deeper.
Why? Because you'll never get it intellectually - a part can't get the whole that created it. So, what did you learn about yourself?

I like what northape said

Ive definitely had some pretty realistic hallucinations from DMT that would send me into psychosis for periods of time. It's important to integrate the experience or you can get lost in states of delusion chasing rubics cubes made of mirrors. There is no end answer to DMT it only.tries to point to the self. Ask yourself who am I? And that is a good start. Hallucinations are interesting no doubt but they can become a trap.
