That looks like a very nice setup brother. You might want to consider avoiding the folds on the mesh, and try to curve the bends to let the current flow and avoid hotspots.

Make sure the mesh top surface where you load spice is flat, for more and even surface.

But if it works, don't fix it 😀.

While you are waiting for your scale, try to find the correct settings. Mesh should glow faintly red in a dark room.

Impressive mesh setup there mate. Do you use it for deems, and how much do you load at once? I am really curious of how to use all that surface. Would love to see some pics.

For DMT only. Sure, will send pics. I take the cap off exposing the mesh and lay the vape horizontal to load the spice. Any spilling occurs on a piece of paper below, which I re-load onto the mesh. I load both sides of the mesh for even distribution. Then carefully pulse to melt it in, then attached the cap.

You will love 100 mesh. Much easier loading up without spilling. I only found SS 304 sheets on eBay, and it work as a charm, just need a bit higher TCR than ss316.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward ordering it. As Aum mentioned I believe a thicker mesh will improve vaping, especially for my longer mesh. The DMT gets heated more from all sides instead of one.

I forgot to mention this one, my favourite. Water proof, solid, and a very good TC chip. You would need an 18650 battery and charger for this one.

The riser for the eleaf pico worked to raise up the wotofo. However the temp control no longer worked properly. I trued several settings and even at the lowest temp the spice burned. In wattage mode it kept slipping to VW (tried to see if low watt fires would work). In other modes it glowed white quickly. Luckiky i wasn't actually hitting it.

My Dt Quartz Quest had the VW issue this but i fixed that issue by re-assembling the rig according to the video ineedhemp posted (if i use it i test fire thoroughly before loading now. But for now i need to save for a better mod with tcr. Back to the GVG until then...
 
Might be that the extension ruins the TC. If it keeps switching to wattage it doesn't recognize the SS.

The Pico should have TCR mode. Try the M1 mode.

You can try to update the software as well. Google Arctic Fox eleaf.

You are using the Geek Vape - Box Aegis Solo 100w? And this works perfect for TC? Getting everything in, in one hit?

And which TCR do you use for your SS 304 mesh?

So i finally figured out how to get to TCR on the eleaf and what it actually does. I did order the aegis. Side note as i was rabbit holing rigs i came across the Divine Tribe V4 crucible that has me curious as well. Quartz bowl with a ceramic disc underneath.

Sure thing. The aegis solo has a very good TCR, mesh is glowing almost constant, not pulsing as many other mods.
Remember the 18650 battery and external charger.

One hit blast off every time. 25 mg gives me a 5-6 minutes in hyperspace. 30-35mg 9-13 minutes.

And for spice, the extension setup you have made, seems a bit overcomplicated in my humble opinion. The setup I got with the formed mesh, can take at least 100mg, something I would never dare to do, or advice others to do.

The formed mesh is so easy to load without spilling, which makes a big difference to me.

I set the TCR to 140-150 with the 304 mesh. 210C, max 60w.

I like my setup because zero spilling on the RDA top by doing horizontal spice loading. My spice is super fluffy, so much more volume than average - maybe that's the difference. But one could also easily vape with a short mesh and the original cap like you when purchasing the 304 mesh sheets which can be cut wider than the vandyvape mesh rolls.

I have been using the Yocan evolve plus for a while. It worked way better with my first batch of dmt and does not seem to work as good with my second batch. I do not like that I have to take so many hits to breakthrough with it and is really hit or miss with my second batch.

I am waiting for my vandy vape rda and my 100 mesh sheet that Propello recommended and will cut it. Would you recommend I buy a seperate drip tip or do you think the one that comes with it is good enough? Do you have the airflow all the way closed?

Propellor said that you can be in hyperspace for over 10 minutes with 30 mg and over. Is that true for others?
 
Welcome to the Nexus brother.

To answer the drip tip issue: the included drip tip will do, but with a longer one, you get a cooler vape. The extra long glass ones are nice if you wish to know when you have emptied the mesh.

I prefer the airflow holes half open.

Ps, which battery mod do you have, or planning to buy?

Others must answer how long they stay in hyperspace at different quantities. People are different, DMT quality can vary, several factors to consider here. I always do 2 re x rounds on my extractions to get purer spice.

If it works, don't fix it. I was just curious, and would still love to see some images of your loaded mesh.

Does the longer mesh heat up evenly, or are there hotspots or cooler regions?

I have a voopoo drag 2.
It is supposed to be good for temperature control but have never used it for that yet. It seems that you guys recommend tcr 250 for the mesh 100 micron. Why does it have to be different compared to the 150 micron? Also propello it seems that you put your mod up to 60 watts max but before it was 35. Why did u change that?

Also my 100 micron mesh won’t arrive for another 2 weeks. Is the 150 micron vandy vape stool big enough to fit your doses on?it seems like someone does not think so and he thinks that it will burn because too much is put in that little horizontal space you have with spool wire.

The drag2 should be excellent.

I started with the vandy vape mesh rolls. It works just fine, but a lot more difficult to load the spice without spilling. It will not burn the spice.

I increased the wattage after reading up. The wattage will vary depending on the airflow setting and how hard you draw, while the temperature is constant. I doubt I use 60w, but I have set it higher just in case.

TCR 150+- works for me with the formed mesh SS 304 setup.

For vandyvape 150 SS 316 rolls, you can use the SS mode or TCR about 110+-

Where did you see that I mentioned TCR 250? That would be too much.
 
Oh nvm some one made a post saying use 90 tcr for 150 micron and 250-300 tcr for 100.
How light is the smoke comparing to yocan or dab rig? How long does it take to get the full 30 mg into your system using emerged?

What is your opinion on the yocan? Also do you ever use a cell dmt cart? Tried to make a strong one and it turned out to be super weak but I broke through on my friends one in 5 hits
 
Different metals got different TCR. No matter thickness or other parameters. For example, Ss316 got a lower TCR than SS304.

The e-mesh method crushes the yocan. 30mg are gone in 5 seconds. The vape are much denser but still smooth. On the yocan I don't even get to the waiting room at 30mg. You won't look back.

I use the vaporesso veco tank for liquid deems. 0.3 ceramic coil, max 45 watt, max 260C. 250mg spice in 1ml 70/30 Pg/VG with a dash menthol. Breakthrough on 3 big hits. But I prefer the e-mesh. The cell carts can take about 10w. 5 hits is labor in my humble opinion.
